Looking for a good, natural beard wash? Maybe this one is an option for you! Watch my review of the all natural “Bartpracht Cuxhaven Beard Soap” and why it got my new favorite wash!
A lot of beard washes are made with – you name it – silicones or PEGs to preserve the product and get your beard soft. But as a frequent reader of my blog, you know that plastic is bad, so I am always watching out for natural alternatives.
This beard soap comes from German company “Bartpracht” and promises an all natural experience. And to spoil you a little: I just opened my second bottle of it because I felt in love with the smell!

Ingredients of Bartpracht Cuxhaven
The producer says that “Cuxhaven” it’s not only all natural, it’s also a vegan product. And Indeed I didn’t find any PEG, Parabene or Silicone in the list of inrgredients. Perfect.

Bottle and scent
Thanks to its disc closure, it’s easy to get the wash out of the bottle.
The first thing you notice is the scent and it’s fantastic! The smell is made with lemon and salt essentials and perfectly matches the natural style of this product. I’m always looking forward to use the Beardwash because I love the smell 😀
Just take a little amount, foam it up between your hands, and apply to the beard. Let it in for a minute and rinse out with water. This is done easily without leaving remains.
Reviewers on amazon praise the thrift of this beard wash. I can’t say the same – after using conditioner for 2 days, i need some more of the beard wash to get it washed out. But it’s still OK.
Bartbracht says the formula is so mild that you can use the wash everyday. I tried it out and I still don’t recommend this – 2 times a week should be enough.
The result is really really good! The beard feels noticable softer than before and gets a nice shine.
Bartpracht sells 150 ml for round about 25 Euro on their own webshop. Thats a lot for a soap, but compared to other products I reviewed it’s still a good price for a natural product and quality and result is outstanding. Unfortunately they only ship to German addresses, I got mine from a Swiss reseller.
