Friday, review day. This week I went to a barber again after a along time, and got cool grooming tips for you.

It has been a long time ago that I went to a barber, I think it was sometime in Spring. But this week, it happened again! Not because I wasn’t happy with my beard. No, I just wanted to get back to those smells in a barber shop, see other men with nice beards and let somebody else work on my facial hair. That’s what I like so much about barbershops – you get inspired, learn and enjoy the luxury treatment !

After I made some very bad experiences with barbers cutting away half of my beard without any request, I got very picky in who’s allowed to cut my beard. This time, the choosen one had an impressive beard himself, so I was sure he knew what to do with mine. And I got what I was hoping for J It might be a prejudice, but I’m always afraid that shaved barbers don’t really know what they want to sell.

Another reason I go to barbers are the tips they give (only if you talk to them, of course) . At the end of this session, my cute bearded barber with the sweet eyes gave me the ultimate tip for a long lasting shape: hair fixing spray! Give two or three sprays of an extra strong product in the palm of your hand and spread over the surface of the beard to give a very good, long lasting fixation. Best tip ever! I instantly bought a cheap spray at Migros and tried it out, it’s a fantastic and cheap way to keep beards in shape.

In terms of my blog, nothing else happened. It’s Christmas time and I was super busy with dinners and dinners and dinners. I’ll be a little chubby at the end of the season 😉

Have a great weekend!
