The beard library: Garibaldi – the natural beard

Garibaldi Full Beard

Beard of the week is the Garibaldi, a basically wide and full beard with a rounded bottom and an integrated moustache, not more than 15-20cm in length. A beard that allows natural growth. And only that.

If you’re looking for the real thing – here we go! This natural beard is perfect for the lazy ones out there. No weekly trimming needed!  Best seen on professors at the university, gardeners or hippies with a  little sense for personal hygiene. They prefer natural smells – why wear a deodorant?

As you might have noticed, I’m a big fan of full beards as they reflect what’s given guys by nature. But while I prefer a little groom, smart contours and smart shapes, this is the ultimate beard for the real natured guy. Makes your face looking … well … filled. And makes a nice home for small animals as well.

For: Profs, Gardeners, Hippies, Natures
Family: The full beard
Age: 30-70
I call it: let it grow, let it grow, let it grow
Styling: Keep the mustache neatly groomed and keep to a shorter length than the beard – The more ‘natural’ looking the better – the cheek and mustache areas should be kept trimmed once in a while, whilst the chin area will be allowed to grow naturally.

Beard addicted, graphic designer, project manager, teacher, cat lover, coffee drinker, iphoneographer and photographer, instagramer, blogger, world traveller, eater, cook and a happy bear. Born in Germany, living in Switzerland. I hope to share my passion for beards with the help of this blog with you. Enjoy :)
